We have already been there 3 times, also with friends And are enthusiastic about the atmosphere, the attentive-friendly service and not last of all the delicious food for the eyes and palate. We look forward to a Reopening after the pandemic.
The location is super cool and the service is very friendly and helpful. We tried our way through the tapas selection and can only recommend sharing the small delicacies so that you can try as much as possible.
Food: interesting menu. Prepared very, very tasty. It's worth it. Drinks: Wine and beer delicious and ice cold, as it should be. Sake pleasantly warm and very tasty. Service quick and very friendly. I haven't been so completely satisfied for a long time.
Among other things, our favorite shop when it comes to a cozy evening with delicious food and super friendly staff. The feeling is always very nice and the atmosphere is relaxed. Recommended !!!!
Food was ok, but unfortunately it didn't blow us away! The WoW effect was absolutely missing. A little expensive for the small portions.
Has already been to tenshi twice and both times more than satisfied! Nice reception, great location and good food! A visit is highly recommended! Thumbs up and keep it up!
Just great. Delicious fresh cheap. Asian cuisine, also something for ? vegans and vegetarians with many choices. Very nice personable service forces. Highly recommended ????? Good luck to the new operator. Bye for now ...
The ambience is a very cozy restaurant. Has been there several times and enjoyed it. You get a very friendly welcome, nice staff. I've been to Asia a lot and I'm really happy that the kitchen is really good and that there are real highlights that I haven't got anywhere in Germany so far. Compliments to the kitchen, keep doing the same and don't let up!
We were there for the first time today and we are thrilled. Great ambience, very nice waitresses. I've always loved tapas and this is something completely new. All dishes were great and there was no long wait. The dessert was the icing on the cake. Cocktails also very tasty and unusual, finally something new. Bye for now.
The Tenshi is the rebranded "Mowgli". The location is the same, the furnishings are the same (except for a few murals). Were there at lunchtime. The menu would be simplified and scaled down - which is very positive. My wife had the "Susrito" (big maki roll) and loved it. She liked it very much. I had a bowl and it was incredibly ghastly. Very sour and incredibly hot. I and my wife (she tried it) didn't like it at all. Left the store with mixed feelings, so only 3 *.
Modern innovative bar and restaurant. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable and in a good mood and always has a suitable recommendation in store! The interior and atmosphere are cozy and decorated with lots of plants and pictures, which gives the whole thing its own charm. In general, the shop is bursting with innovation, be it the creative concept of the kitchen to go its own regional, sustainable path with an Asian-inspired character, or the extensive bar menu that covers every taste.
A new Asian restaurant - what should you expect? So we thought, but ... a slightly different concept awaited us with some extremely tasty little things. Somehow different - great flavor combinations! We loved it and will visit the Tenshi again shortly. In addition, a very nice and mostly attentive staff. Just waiting for the bill took a little too long.
Excellent selection of Asian dishes prepared on a very high level and of the highest quality. Pleasant atmosphere and great service. We recommend.
Delicious food and very nice service. We definitely have to come back in the evening when there is tapas. Drinks menu looks very good too. And I really like the design in the restaurant.
Super delicious food. Just something different. Not to be compared with other classic Asians. Great ambience and also great for having a few nice drinks.
The food was delicious, well seasoned and pep. The staff was very friendly. For the beginning, many often fail, you have made a very good start. There were 3 of us with you and we got full for 62 euros (with 2 drinks per person).
The food was delicious and something different. Gladly again! But I would definitely not order a cocktail from you again. 9 € and then comes a small crystal glass filled with a large ice ball. We took this out for fun with the result that maybe 1/4 of the glass was still filled. Approx. 100 ml for € 9. I think you will annoy a lot of customers in the future.
The team from tenshi and Tobias Heidenreich Unfortunately, it is a very big exception in the jungle of insignificant event gastronomy in Hanover. It is nice to see how fresh and imaginative the Far Eastern cuisine is recreated and artistically staged in various facets on the plate. The huge cosmos of the Far East, compressed into our neighborhood, simply a feast for the senses. A must for all fans of Far Eastern cross-over cuisine and especially for those who want to become one. Maybe the hope of a star in the sky of Hanover. Price-performance: top Creativity and courage: very good O.Bascoban
We visited the tenshi in pairs and were very excited to see how it would turn out. The atmosphere is quite nice, the service is good, the menu sounds promising ... unfortunately our expectations regarding the food could not be met ??♂️ We had ordered a choice of 5 "tapas" + rice. Unfortunately, only one of the 5 tapas was really convincing (Miss Piggy), and the portions are really measly. However, the prices are anything but measly ? All in all, a rather disappointing visit, which is why we won't visit the restaurant for the time being.
Great Asian tapas made with local ingredients. The kitchen focuses on quality and perfect harmony in the dishes. Each ingredient and garnish has a taste and is lovingly prepared. Here you can see and taste that chef Tobias has worked in the starred restaurant. Our dishes: Dynamic duo The tuna and salmon tartar is a perfect start. The high quality fish harmonized very well with the miso mayo. A funny and practical idea is the Tenshi soy emulsion, which comes in a syringe and is therefore very easy to dose. Red light prawn Our highlight of the evening and an absolute "must order"! The combination of shrimp in a puffed green rice coat, wasabi pea puree, pea cress with lemongrass foam is awesome in terms of taste. The lemongrass foam gives this dish such a fine and interesting note that it takes it to a Michelin star level. That it is still so lovingly arranged is almost drowned in the fireworks of flavors. Baby duck The sous vide cooked Barbarie duck breast with marinated sesame shitake is a perfect combination. The marinade is intense and yet harmoniously restrained and lets the taste of shitake and duck shine. Here we would have liked five instead of three slices of duck. Beef me up The combination of beef rump sous vide, coriander, mint, chilli, red onions, bean sprouts and lime is Korean-inspired. A slight spiciness makes this dish, served lukewarm, special. Lucky bags The Gyozas are filled with ground beef, which goes perfectly with the slightly crispy dough in its juicy consistency and spicy taste. The BBQ pepper sets a surprising and successful taste accent here. Wine We had the Grauburgunder Neiss, which is dry, tangy and still above average complex for this price range. For me the perfect companion to the dishes ... but unfortunately I had no comparison. With this wine you always do everything right. service Attentive, competent and friendly. We felt treated like we'd been regulars for years even though it only opened a week ago. Ambience Cosmopolitan and modern and also very cozy. Conclusion: High quality Asian cuisine at reasonable prices. The Tenshi could also be assumed to be in Tokyo, Buenos Aires, Toronto or Berlin. It's nice that it's in Hanover.
Me and my friends had a great time at Tenshi - top food, drinks & music. Highly recommend this place.
